VRF system

The VRF system is the direct expansion solution for year round air conditioning, particularly suitable for commercial buildings, hotels and offices.

Both on the source side and on the use side, it is based on the direct heat exchange between refrigerant and environment.

The system terminals, ie the indoor units, are an integral part of the cooling circuit, acting as an evaporator in summer operation and as a condenser in winter operation.

Compared to the SPLIT system, the VRF is characterized by the presence of the electronic expansion valve on the individual indoor units, ensuring a greater extension of the system, in addition to a high number and total operation independence of the terminals.

The offer is completed by units for air renewal: HRV recuperators, AQX VRF direct expansion air handling units, ZEPHIR3 units with active thermodynamic recovery.

Why choose the VRF system

The system's elements

Outdoor units

They represent the" heart "of the system, producing thermal and cooling energy according to the needs of the environments served. Available in multiple series that are distinguished by the wide range of capacities and types available:

  • Power capacity from 8 to 45 kW for Mini VRF and from 25 to 270 kW for VRF
  • Available in compact Mini VRF series, heat pump and heat recovery VRF, air or water source (VRF heat pump)

Indoor units

They represent the terminal units and are available in 14 series (boxes, ductable, wall-mounted, ceiling-mounted and floor-standing) with a total of over 100 models to satisfy any application. Full DC inverter range with 7 ventilation speeds available.

HRV air renewal

The air renewal units with heat recovery allow the air renewal minimizing the energy consumption and the temperature fluctuations.

Control systems

A wide range of commands allows you to manage the different zones locally or remotely independently according to your specific needs.

Available: wireless and wired remote controls, centralized touchscreen controls, interfaces for cloud control from smartphones, tablets or PCs, supervision systems for centralized management of multiple systems even in different locations and BMS interfaces for integration of the VRF system with third-party equipment.
